31 Július 2025 Jet Ski World Series visits Belgium

Kawasaki’s supported Jet Ski personal watercraft riders arrived in Belgium on the final weekend in July to join other racers at round two of the three round World Series.
Opening the series in Japan – where Jet Ski innovators Kawasaki are based – plus Belgium and then Thailand, the on-water action across a weekend of racing is an exciting spectacle. And with a variety of Pro and Amateur classes, plus classes for each machine category, the race card was full for the many spectators that made the journey to the Eau d'Heure lakes mid distance along the border between Belgium and France.

Representing Kawasaki were long time Kawasaki pilot, Jimmy Wilson from Charlotte North Carolina in Pro ski Grand Prix along with Japanese rider, Mao Sato. Covering the bases in both Expert Ski Grand Prix and Pro-Am Endurance open was Hugo Pastorello  son of Jean Bruno Pastorello, seven-time Water Jet World Grand Prix Pro-Am Endurance Open Champion.

Not only were Kawasaki on the water but also the company had a presence on the shoreline at the Belgian event loaning the organisers a MULE Utility Vehicle to help launch and recover the competitors race craft. The series now moves to the warmer waters of the final round in Thailand for the culmination in December.
